If you reside in London, arrangements can be made for you to try on jewellery samples, if available. Most pieces are made to order therefore availability to try may be limited. You may be asked to book an appointment for a bespoke consultation to see collections and chat through options.

Yes. I also use some techniques in porcelain or polymer clay, flower making from luxury fabrics and beaded and goldwork embroidery.

Every piece in the Ready to Wear range can often be customised. Customisations can be made to height, shape, colour, length. For example, if you require a longer hair comb, this could be done. If you needed an altered length to a necklace, this could be adjusted.

Currently I only hand make birdcage veils. Birdcage veils are otherwise known as a blusher veil, bandeau veil, Russian or French veil. It is a short veil that covers part of the face. There are many variations in how these can be made to suit you often relying on the shape of your face, hairstyle, your dress or outfit and whether you want a modern, classic or vintage look. Embellishments for these types of veils are endless.

These veils are simply GORGEOUS. Period.

The three jewellery lines of Kala Waya Collections are: All Season, Luxury and Limited Edition. Jewellery within the All Season Line can be worn every day from lounging, from work to weekday dine out with your beau. The Luxury Line has mostly our bridal and special occasion jewellery, these pieces are a bit more intricate and the embellishments a bit more luxurious. Limited Edition offers pieces that are exclusive and may be advertised as a one off or offered a select number of times a year in limited quantities. Limited edition jewellery or products appear in flash sale offers.

Creating jewellery unique to the client is the main service of Kala Waya Collections. There is nothing more inspiring than having free rein to express your unique individual style no matter how subtle, sparkly or eye-catching. My number one goal is to ensure that your hair jewellery accentuates your coils, kinks, locs or curls and hair style chosen, in the most elegant way. I got you Queen, whether your personal style is bohemian, modern, chic or classic. Matching body jewellery sets such as earrings, necklace or bracelet can also be handcrafted. Bespoke items are priced according to time and materials with a small design surcharge. I want to ensure that clients are happy with the process and their commission. Photos and videos of your piece during the making process will be sent so that you know exactly what you are getting!

Have some ideas of what you want for a jewellery piece. Equally important, think about what you would not want in your design. Feel free to bring your wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, a swatch of fabric or any images that get you really inspired!

If you have nothing to bring, it’s no worries! We can still put our brilliant brains together and come up with a design that was absolutely meant to be for you.

Choosing hair and body jewellery that is personal to your style is a lovely moment  to be cherished long after the event has gone. It is understandable that you want to get this right. It’s always nice to have the opinions of those closest to you when planning aspects of your wedding or special event, however too many opinions can get confusing. I would recommend bringing along 2-3 people who’s opinion you value most. If you want to come alone then this is also fine. Most face to face consultations are held in a relaxed public space.

Please notify within 48 hrs if you wish to cancel or reschedule a consultation. Please note, if you fail to arrive within 15 minutes of your face to face consultation time without any communication, your consultation will be cancelled.

Once we agree your final design post consultation, you will be sent a quotation for commissioned work with further instructions. Deposit is 30% and payable by card on this website, PayPal, by bank transfer or cash in person. For more information go to my KW Experience page.

If you are ordering hair or body jewellery as a gift for someone else, please ensure you enter your own name and address in billing details and the recipient’s name and address in delivery details.

All our invoices are enclosed with your order as proof of purchase. If you would like to request that the invoice is sent directly to you and NOT enclosed with the order, please type this in the comments box when you place your order or email me after you have placed your order to let us know.

Items that are out of stock can still be ordered. Drop me a line and I’ll be able to notify you of when you’d be able to receive item. Out of stock items may carry a slightly longer delivery time as each piece needs to be handcrafted.

Card payments and Paypal is accepted online.  Cash payments only applies to some bespoke arrangements. Cheques are not accepted. For further information on payment options, refer to my Terms of Sale.

In most cases, an order can be amended, but if the order has already been processed and sent, then this may not be possible. Please send an email and I’ll try my best to help.

I have a special relationship with my Caribbean Queens and would love to build more connections in this part of the world. Shipping pricing may vary based on your final shipping destination.
